We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Bioinformatician to join our dynamic research team. The ideal candidate will lead bioinformatics projects, develop innovative computational methods, and contribute to cutting-edge genomic research.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement bioinformatics pipelines for genomic data analysis
• Develop and maintain software tools for data processing and visualization
• Collaborate with wet-lab scientists to analyze and interpret complex biological datasets
• Lead and mentor junior bioinformaticians and computational biologists
• Contribute to grant proposals and scientific publications
• Stay current with the latest developments in bioinformatics and computational biology

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of post-doctoral experience in bioinformatics
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, and/or Perl
• Expertise in genomic data analysis, including next-generation sequencing data
• Proficiency in statistical analysis and machine learning techniques
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and high-performance computing environments
